Pembe Hassan has been a dedicated professional in the beauty industry since 2001. With experience ranging from salon work to head therapist and manager roles, she transitioned to teaching in 2016. Since joining Ray Cochrane in 2019, Pembe has been an integral part of our team, specialising in beauty therapy and facial & skincare courses. She holds 24 qualifications, including City and Guilds Level 2 and 3 in Beauty Therapy, a BTEC Award in Education and Training, and a VTCT Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement. Her passion for teaching and wealth of industry knowledge make her an invaluable asset to our students.

Martina-Amy is our dedicated Nail Technology Tutor with over six years of industry experience. After earning her VTCT Level 2 Certificate and Level 3 Diploma in Nail Treatments in early 2020, she passionately transitioned into education, and has also played a key role in launching start-up nail companies and businesses in beauty, health, and wellness.

Since then, Martina has gained a Level 3 Award in Education and Training, and progressed to teaching Levels 2 and 3 in our nail technology courses, providing students with comprehensive training and support.  Martina’s dedication to education and continuous skill development makes her an exceptional mentor for aspiring nail technicians.

Krisztina brings over 25 years of experience in the beauty and cosmetics industry to her role as a tutor for our beauty therapy courses. Specialising in cosmetic science and aesthetics, including laser and IPL treatments, she ensures comprehensive education for her students. As a Lead IQA and external examiner, Krisztina works with renowned award bodies like VTCT, CIBTAC, and CIDESCO, upholding high educational standards across the UK and internationally.

Maria is a CIDESCO-qualified advanced aesthetician with 20 years of experience in the beauty industry and medical led skin clinics. In her career, she has been working as an injector alongside medical professionals, dermatologists and doctors performing advanced aesthetics treatments such as Mesotherapy and fillers. Her passion for helping others shines through in her work, whether boosting a client’s confidence with a new look or making them feel pampered. As a tutor, Maria is dedicated to inspiring interest in beautician training and sharing valuable insights to help students navigate their career paths smoothly and enjoyably.

With over 14 years of experience, Eleonora leads as our Education Director and a tutor, while also managing the successful luxury skin clinic, Dermacure.

She holds prestigious qualifications and continually updates her expertise to offer learners cutting-edge education in aesthetics and laser treatments. Recognised by VTCT for her passion and innovation, she has contributed to developing some of their recent advanced aesthetics qualifications.

Sally is our dedicated content specialist with a Master’s degree in Marketing. She specialises in creating engaging, accurate, insightful beauty and aesthetics content for Ray Cochrane Academy. Her expertise allows us to create tailored content that helps our learners and aspiring professionals stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and access practical career advice and key resources for upskilling regardless of the stage of their careers.

Scott Francis Vanstone brings nearly 10 years of customer service experience to his role as Course Enrolment Executive. With a strong dedication to assisting students, Scott ensures a seamless enrolment process and provides valuable support throughout their educational journey.

Xubin Yuan, our School Director since 2014, is a meticulous chartered accountant known for his commitment to excellence. He co-founded the successful Premier Laser Clinic chain, opening six clinics. Xubin actively contributes to the school’s daily operations.
