Moving to a new home: 75 Baker Street, London, W1U 6RE

This year, we moved to a brand new facility at 75 Baker Street! Although it is only down the street from our previous location at 118 Baker Street, where we spent the last 70 years, we didn’t decide to relocate lightly. This upgrade was necessary due to an increasing number of students, more courses than ever offered, and a growing need for more modern facilities.
Our new facilities are more than just a change of address; it’s a significant leap towards further enhancing our students’ learning experience.
The new building features a dedicated student lounge, which will encourage collaboration and networking amongst our students. After all, you are the next generation of leading beauty therapists and aestheticians! Here, our students can relax, exchange ideas and build relationships that will serve them for years in the beauty and aesthetics industry.
We have chosen a location with more modern facilities in addition to the student lounge. Our new premises’ rooms are fully air-conditioned and equipped with the latest technology and equipment to ensure an immersive learning environment. We’ve invested in the best for our students, including advanced beauty tools, salon-grade products, and state-of-the-art aesthetic training equipment.
Launching new advanced aesthetic courses: Level 4, Level 5 and Level 6
In line with our rebrand and our dedication to offering top-notch training, 2024 saw the launch of several aesthetic courses and bundles expertly curated by our tutors. The training programs cater to students looking to fast-track their qualifications whilst gaining hands-on training from leading industry professionals.
Here’s a summary of some of our new aesthetic courses and bundles:
- Level 5 Chemical Peel Course – This advanced skin peeling training gives students the expertise to perform professional-grade chemical peels in just 4 weeks!
- Level 4 & 5 Combined Chemical Peels Course – Designed for ambitious students who want to complete comprehensive chemical peel training. Ensuring they master everything from foundational to advanced techniques in a streamlined process over 7 weeks.
- Level 4 Combined Chemical Peel & Microneedling Course—This dual course combines two of the most in-demand aesthetic treatment training over eight weeks, offering students diverse skills to address various skin concerns and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
- Level 4 Fibroblast Plasma Pen Course – The perfect course for students looking to offer a cutting-edge, non-invasive, anti-ageing treatment that rivals Botox to their clients! Become fully qualified in just 5 weeks!
- Level 5 Laser Tattoo Removal Course—Are you a Level 4 Laser technician looking to get more out of your machines? Our tattoo removal training teaches students to safely and effectively remove tattoos of various sizes and complexities in just five days.
- Level 6 Mesotherapy Course—Last year, we introduced a one-day CPD-accredited Mesotherapy course, and it was such a hit that our learners wanted more! This five-week Level 6 course is one of our most advanced offerings, ensuring graduates are ready to excel at the highest professional standards.
VTCT/ITEC are the awarding body for all of these courses, so they are OFQUAL-regulated and recognised internationally. You can also use these qualifications with your local council for insurance and licencing purposes.
Record-Breaking Student Intake
One of our most exciting achievements this year was welcoming our highest number of students! More and more aspiring beauty and aesthetic professionals are choosing Ray Cochrane as their destination for top-tier education.
This milestone is a testament to our reputation for excellence, our dedicated staff, and the students’ trust and satisfaction with us.
Even after 70 years of continuously welcoming new students and saying goodbye to our graduates, it’s still gratifying to see our classrooms buzzing with eager learners who are passionate about their craft.
We’re beyond honoured to play such an essential role in shaping the next generation of beauty and aesthetic professionals, and we can’t wait to continue in the new year!
Introducing Our Rebrand: Ray Cochrane Beauty Aesthetics Academy
2024 also marked a significant milestone in our journey: the rebranding of our training institution from Ray Cochrane Beauty School to Ray Cochrane Beauty Aesthetics Academy.
The rebrand wasn’t just cosmetic; it reflects our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality advanced aesthetic courses tailored to prepare our students for the competitive global aesthetics industry while preserving our renowned beauty courses.
We hope this change has highlighted our vision of being more than just a beauty school. We are leaders in aesthetic training, empowering students from all over the country and beyond to excel in their careers with advanced skills, experienced tutors and modern qualifications.
As part of our rebrand, we also redesigned our website, which we launched in November 2024.
