Since 2021, we’ve launched carefully designed new advanced aesthetic courses in line with the direction of the beauty industry’s ongoing trends:
We’re thrilled to be rounding out 2022 with our latest addition, Expert Mesotherapy training! Our first course launched on the 2nd of December and was such a success that we’ve already got a waiting list for future course dates.
A 5-star review was left by a student who attended our first-ever Mesotherapy training course
What is Mesotherapy?
It was initially developed by a French doctor, Michel Pistor, in the early 1950s as a pain relief. Mesotherapy is a popular non-surgical treatment that uses fine needles to inject serums containing various peptides, enzymes, hormones, vitamins and botanical extracts into the skin. However, please note that there isn’t a specific or uniform product injected at all Mesotherapy centres. Instead, depending on the outcome you discuss with your aesthetic practitioner will determine the products used.
The fine needles create tiny little breaks in the skin to inject the serum into the skin’s middle layer, or the mesoderm, as it’s professionally known. The treatment can be safely carried out all over the client’s body, including the face, neck, chest and hands.
What are the benefits of Mesotherapy treatment?
Mesotherapy is an excellent alternative to much more invasive treatments, making it a more suitable option for many clients. In addition, many aestheticians have found that clients prefer more natural and homoeopathic therapies like Mesotherapy, especially in today’s era, where we all want to make better-informed decisions regarding our health and body.
There are many benefits to Mesotherapy, but it’s so popular with celebrities because of its ability to rejuvenate the skin. The little breaks in the skin caused by the needles, in turn, encourage the skin to regenerate and rejuvenate at a faster pace. In addition, because the serums are directly delivered to the mesodermal layer, they can penetrate deeper and more effectively.
Aside from the benefit mentioned above, trained Aestheticians can now use Mesotherapy to deliver the following results:
- Reduce cellulite
- Tighten loose skin
- Diminish the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines
- Remove fat across the body
- Improve skins firmness and overall tone
Because of how safe the treatment is, Mesotherapy can be carried out on the scalp to encourage hair growth. Therefore, clients experiencing hair loss, hair thinning, and male pattern baldness are perfect candidates for the service.
What will you learn on the Mesotherapy training course?
In our intensive training programme, students will learn everything they need to be able to start offering treatments immediately. Yes, that’s right, the day you finish the course, you are fully qualified and prepared to add Mesotherapy to your treatment list.
The course structure is as follows:
- Revision of Skin Anatomy & Physiology
- The History of Mesotherapy
- Mesotherapy for Skin Rejuvenation using various techniques

- The Various Skin Conditions that Mesotherapy can treat

- Process of Client Consultation

As you can see, there is a lot to learn, hence why we’ve labelled the course as the Mesotherapy Intensive training programme. We only recommend it to aestheticians passionate about administering up-to-date and relevant therapies to their clients.
Why Ray Cochrane Beauty School?
We are the leading academy in London for beauty and aesthetics courses. Founded in 1954, Ray Cochrane has been the go-to for aspiring beauty professionals looking for prestigious and thorough training.
On campus, we offer over ten Beauty and aesthetic courses ranging from beginner-friendly level 2 beauty and facials to advanced Level 4 aesthetic courses. We also provide online beauty lessons for those who want to take advantage of our renowned training but cannot attend in person. Online courses are only available for specific specialities as we believe with most beauty courses, hands-on training is necessary.
Speaking of hands-on training, all of our in-person courses will feature an element of practical training. When you’ve reached a confident level of theoretical understanding, and your tutor feels you are ready, students will practice their knowledge on each other first before moving to live models. Our learners will either complete the practical studies in the classroom with voluntary models provided by the school. Alternatively, some courses will have students working in our commercial salon on paying customers.
Finally, for our Mesotherapy training course, those who enrol will be taught by the best of the best. All our tutors are highly experienced Beauty, and Aesthetic practitioners who still actively work in the industry and those leading the course are no different. We currently have two designated tutors for this course, Eleonora Androva and Maria Andrews.
Who is teaching the course?
Eleonora Androva is the school’s educational director and the founder of Dermacure. At her luxury Westminister clinic, she regularly carries out Mesotherapy on her clients. In addition, as academic director of Ray Cochrane, Eleonora works hard to introduce the most current treatment training into our curriculum.
Maria Andrews is our second tutor on the course. An expert in the aesthetics field and currently working at Dr Elena K. Clinic in Sloan Square. She regularly administers mesotherapy treatments to clients. Maria now lends her talent to the Ray Cochrane Beauty School on the side, training our students to be the best.
Where is our training course based?
Ray Cochrane Beauty School has two locations, both based in London. Our first location, which has been open since 1954, is on Baker Street, Marylebone. Baker Street is only a short walk from London’s famous Trafalgar Square, making it easily accessible no matter where you travel. The lines that service Baker Street station are Jubilee, Bakerloo, Metropolitan, Circle and Hammersmith & City, with trains arriving every 5 minutes.
Our second location, established within the last ten years to keep up with the school’s ongoing demand, is in Canary Wharf, recognised as London’s business district. Students can access the area with the Jubilee, DLR and Elizabeth Line.
When planning our numerous course dates, we alternate locations to make it easier for those who prefer specific areas. Nonetheless, with London’s fast and reliable transportation services, both sites can be reached quickly, making little difference.
How long does it take to complete the Mesotherapy training?
At Ray Cochrane, the Mesotherapy training course in London is an intensive programme. Delivered in just one day, learners must arrive at 10 am and be there till 6 pm.
On the day of the course, two professional aesthetic tutors are on-site. Both of whom have many years of experience within the aesthetics industry. They will explain everything you need to know about Mesotherapy in a way that is easy to take in. There will also be numerous demonstrations and in-depth explanations of the step-by-step process.
The course will finish in a day with our thorough training, paired with learners’ foundational Level 3 Beauty knowledge.
If, at the end of the course, you still feel unsure of your abilities to provide Mesotherapy to your clients safely, then get in touch. Our course advisors are committed to helping all interested learners and alums achieve their career goals.
