Can I get insurance with this qualification?Yes, you will be able to obtain insurance after completing this course as it is an ABT qualification. ABT is also an insurance provider. What is your class size?Our class size is small, with a maximum of 8 students per class. This allows for individual attention and support from our experienced tutors during practical assessments.
Do you provide a starter kit for launching my business?The lash enhancement industry has been growing steadily in the UK over the past several years. According to IBISWorld reports, the UK eyelash extension services industry was valued at £58 million (2022 data). With continued growth predicted through 2027, the outlook remains positive for the profitability of eyelash extension services in the UK. Profit margins for lash techs and salons in the UK averaged around 60-80% in 2022, thanks in part to the relatively low overheads with providing lash services compared to other salon treatments.
How much can a lash technician earn in the UK?As a certified lash tech with your own growing clientele, you could easily charge £50-£150+ for a classic lash set that takes 1.5 - 2 hours. Missing 5th star as school definitely needs new space as school is very outdated, not very well kept, crowded with items, often missing such simple things as hand soap etc. Having said that, if I would choose to continue my learning, I would go for Ray Cochrane again.

It was an absolutely amazing experience. The teacher Miglena was incredibly knowledgeable and broke the theory of laser and IPL down into what any of the group needed to be able to understand.
Miglena was incredibly kind and patient and is the most wonderful teacher, the group I was in was beyond supportive to one another, I couldn't have asked for more.
The course is in depth and provides the knowledge you need to work as a laser technician, it has certainly filled in the blanks that I needed to do my job.
