Over the course of 6 weeks, students will master the art of professional facial treatments, including skin analysis, steaming, mask application and facial massage.
Our unique fast-track structure, which runs one day a week, allows students to complete their training without affecting their daily commitments.
At Ray Cochrane, learners will train using premium beauty brands under the guidance of our experienced tutors, ensuring hands-on practice and personalised support throughout.

What can I do after the Level 2 Facial & Skincare course?
Upon completing the Level 2 Facial and Skincare course you will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to pursue a variety of opportunities in the beauty and skincare industry. You can Begin a Career as a Skincare Specialist straight away, and work in salons, spas, or beauty clinics, providing professional facial treatments and skincare consultations to clients. You can also start your own business. You can progress to Advanced Qualifications and further your education by enrolling in a Level 3 Facial Electrotherapy course or a Level 3 Beauty Therapy course. These advanced courses will deepen your expertise and open doors to more specialised career paths.
What is the schedule of Level 2 facial and skincare course?The VTCT Level 2 Facial and Skincare Course runs for 6 weeks, including theory and practicals training and assessment. The class hours are from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
What qualification will I get after Level 2 facial and skincare course?Upon completion of this course, you will receive a VTCT Level 2 Facial and Skincare award, accredited by OFQUAL and recognised by the beauty industry worldwide, insurance providers, and local councils.
What is our class size?Our class size is small, with a maximum of 14 students per class. This allows for individual attention and support from our experienced tutors during practical assessments.
What are our course tutors like?We take great care in selecting our team of educators and staff members. All our tutors possess subject qualifications in the specific areas they teach as well as teaching qualifications. This ensures that they are well-equipped to teach and guide students effectively. How will I be assessed during Level 2 facial and skincare course?Assessment is continuous and consists of practical assessments, oral questions, tests, and written assignments. You will provide evidence to determine whether you have reached a level of competence. Written assessment papers will provide further evidence of your knowledge and understanding of the subject. The collation of the assessments will be contained in a portfolio which will contain all document feedback sheets and written assessments/projects/assignments.

It was an absolutely amazing experience. The teacher Miglena was incredibly knowledgeable and broke the theory of laser and IPL down into what any of the group needed to be able to understand.
Miglena was incredibly kind and patient and is the most wonderful teacher, the group I was in was beyond supportive to one another, I couldn't have asked for more.
The course is in depth and provides the knowledge you need to work as a laser technician, it has certainly filled in the blanks that I needed to do my job.
