In the Providing Skin Peeling unit, we will teach you how to treat a range of skin concerns including acne, dehydrated skin, dull skin tones, enlarged skin pores, fine lines, wrinkles & hyperpigmentation.

The Level 5 Chemical Peeling course builds upon the knowledge gained from the VTCT Level 4 Skin Peeling qualification.
It instructs students on the national and international standards needed for safely conducting superficial chemical peels. Students will learn how to:

• Appraise the safety considerations when providing superficial skin peeling treatments
• Appraise accepted protocols and guidelines for providing superficial skin peeling treatments
• Analyse the uses, limitations, benefits and effects of superficial skin peeling products
• Formulate consultation, planning and preparation protocols for superficial skin peeling treatments
• Demonstrate proficiency in application of superficial skin peeling treatments

What Are The Entry Requirements? 

The learner is required to have successfully completed a beauty-related level 3 qualification or medical qualifications, e.g. being a doctor or nurse.
Students must be aged 18 and over and speak and understand English at a level that is sufficient to participate in the course.
