It was an absolutely amazing experience. The teacher Miglena was incredibly knowledgeable and broke the theory of laser and IPL down into what any of the group needed to be able to understand.
Miglena was incredibly kind and patient and is the most wonderful teacher, the group I was in was beyond supportive to one another, I couldn't have asked for more.
The course is in depth and provides the knowledge you need to work as a laser technician, it has certainly filled in the blanks that I needed to do my job.

As part of our Level 4 Chemical Peel Training you will gain a strong foundation in skin peeling treatments, understanding the science behind the procedures, and learning about advanced skincare principles. We will cover:

• The need for SPF & UVA sun protectors
• Preventing infection

In addition to practice we will focus on core theory topics that will help you become the best aesthetician you can be.
We will cover the principles and practice of non-medical aesthetic therapies, focusing on the core science behind chemical peels – the whys, the hows, and when. Students will also learn health and safety elements that cover preparing the working area, sterilising equipment, and the correct disposal of equipment.
We will also touch on advanced skincare for non-medical aesthetic therapies, which covers the various acids used in chemical peels – the pH, percentages, and application process.
Students will learn how to use various chemicals for skin peelings, such as:

In the Providing Skin Peeling unit, we will teach you how to treat a range of skin concerns including acne, dehydrated skin, dull skin tones, enlarged skin pores, fine lines, wrinkles & hyperpigmentation.
The Level 5 Chemical Peeling course builds upon the knowledge gained from the VTCT Level 4 Skin Peeling qualification.
It instructs students on the national and international standards needed for safely conducting superficial chemical peels. Students will learn how to:
• Appraise the safety considerations when providing superficial skin peeling treatments
• Appraise accepted protocols and guidelines for providing superficial skin peeling treatments
• Analyse the uses, limitations, benefits and effects of superficial skin peeling products
• Formulate consultation, planning and preparation protocols for superficial skin peeling treatments
• Demonstrate proficiency in application of superficial skin peeling treatments
We will be treating the following areas:
• Face and neck
• Chest/upper torso
• Limbs
• Hands
And we will be using the following products/agents:
• Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs)
• Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs)
• Poly Hydroxy Acids (PHAs)
• Cyclic/Alpha-Keto Acids Dicarboxylic acids

• Pre-formulated combination peeling agents
What Are The Entry Requirements?
• The learner is required to have successfully completed a beauty-related level 3 qualification or medical qualifications, e.g. being a doctor or nurse.
• Students must be aged 18 and over and speak and understand English at a level that is sufficient to participate in the course.
• If you have any relevant work experience in the beauty industry, we’re open to considering your application. If you are unsure if your qualification meets the requirements, don’t hesitate to ask us.
Course schedule and attendance requirements
One set day per week for 7 weeks with a 3 week break
